What is culture and why does it matter?

Baird attracts many of the industry's finest Financial Advisors, and a firm cannot attract the best talent without offering something different. That difference is our culture.

Many firms claim to foster some sort of corporate culture, but at Baird, we have been investing in the type of environment we want our associates to cultivate on behalf of themselves and their clients for decades.

At its core, culture might be difficult to define, but you know it when you see it. You certainly know it when you feel it. There is an intentionality to the type of firm we want to be for our associates and our clients. There is an investment in financial and human capital to foster a culture that can be felt and experienced in the workplace by our associates.

At Baird, culture is the artifact of relationships. The relationships we build across our firm matter to the success we achieve together with our clients. Because we are employee owned, there is a sense of community and mission that transcends across all 160 of Baird’s offices.

As a Branch Leader, I’m dedicated to the goals of my colleagues and ensuring they understand how hard I root for their success both inside and outside of our office. We are partners in this journey together, and I am simply tasked with being of service wherever I can help.
